Wallington Hall Visit
A group of our Year 11 History students enjoyed two visits to Wallington Hall in Northumberland this week and last. They took part in a range of well-being activities such as a woodland walk with an artist from the Hatton Gallery in Newcastle, willow weaving to create some fantastic sheep and a tour of the hall. The days ended with marshmallow toasting with the National Trust rangers who told us allabout the work they do on the Wallington estate. The students were a credit to the school, and staff from the National Trust and Newcastle University commented on their excellent attitudes and enthusiasm. Well done to all!
