Working from home?

Using Office 365 (Including Teams) and OneDrive for school work at home and school.

Did you know you can store all your school work on Office 365 and work on it at home without needing Office on your laptop/pc?

Your parents do not need to buy Office from PCWorld etc, you get it for FREE!

You can access Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OneDrive by using a web browser (Microsoft Edge/Chrome etc) or a tablet with the right apps.

To access Office 365 (Teams, Email etc)

Just Click on the Office 365 logo on the top our website or go to www.office.com

Login with your school username with @ferryhill.school on the end. Eg. if your username is 25SmithD, then login as 25SmithD@ferryhill.school

Your password will be the same as your school network password.

Once logged in, you can use Teams/Word/Excel and PowerPoint and save work to your OneDrive.

What is OneDrive?

OneDrive is Microsoft's online storage tool. You can upload files from your home laptop/tablet (Using the OneDrive app) and then login at school and use them for school work.

This is ideal for images and office files. If you study photography, you can upload your images straight from your phone using the app. You get 5gb space which is plenty for school work.

To access OneDrive, just login to www.office.com and Click on the OneDrive icon. On a phone or tablet just download the iOS or Android app.

*Please note some filetypes are blocked for security. Image and Office files are allowed but several video/program files are blocked.*

Extra Help

If your having trouble with using OneDrive please see our help guide below

You do not need to download any apps to use Office 365 through a browser. We would recommend doing homework/teams through a PC or Laptop as tablets and phones can be a bit cumbersome when using these systems.
