Student Leaders in the Community

On Friday 21st October, a group of Student Leaders met with Ferryhill Ambassadors for Community Change, police officers, local councillors and officers from the council to help highlight areas of concern in the Broom area of Ferryhill.

We identified sites where fly tipping had occurred, empty houses and areas that attract anti-social behaviour, so that these can be addressed.

Our Student Leaders are focused on trying to improve our local community and bring about positive change where we can.
