World Book Day at Ferryhill!

We celebrated World Book Day in school on Thursday 2nd March, and as part of our day, students took part in ‘The Masked Reader’. Students had to guess which member of staff was hidden behind their favourite childhood book. It was a lot of fun and we had lots of entries and our winners received some fantastic prizes!

All students also received their World Book Day £1 book token. This, along with our annual sponsored Readathon which launched last week, means that Reading continues to be celebrated and enjoyed here at Ferryhill, and we love to see our students taking part and enjoying their reading and love of books!
