Vietnam Visit

A group of ten Year 10 students from Ferryhill School have just returned from our fantastic trip to Vietnam. The school managed to secure funding from the Turing Scheme to fully fund a free trip for our lucky pupils.

Our packed itinerary included trips to various museums in Saigon, including the War Remnants museum, and the Cu Chi tunnels. We also visited a local school and made lots of new friends, followed by a sunset cruise on the river to see the city skyline.

The acrobats from the world-famous “AO Show” wowed us at the Saigon Opera house. We sampled lots of local food, and one of the highlights was a boat trip along the fabulous Mekong Delta.

One Year 10 student said “This was a great experience, and one of the best things I’ve ever done. It was an eye-opening experience, and has made me want to travel and see the world”.

We are busy planning for our other fantastic free trips to California, Dubai and San Diego.
