Student Leaders Meet The Police

On Monday 4th July, 20 student leaders from Ferryhill School joined pupil ambassadors from our local primary schools to meet with Joy Allan, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Durham, and Jo Farrell, the Chief Constable of Durham Police. The young people raised lots of concerns about issues in our local community, from anti-social behaviour, to speeding on local roads. The students asked some very probing questions about how the police and the community can work together to solve the issues. A big thanks to all of our student leaders.
