Sports Leadership - Girls Euros Event

On the 13th of July, 4 Sport Leaders attended a Euros football event for girls from the local primary schools organised by Go Well.

The morning consisted of the primary schools having a go at various football activities which developed skills such as shooting, dribbling, accuracy and teamwork. Our leaders each ran a station where they organised teams, instructed the primary schools of the rules and motivated them by offering encouragement.

In the afternoon, the schools played small sided football games which our leaders refereed and then we were introduced to a new game called Dragonball!

It has been great to see so many girls coming together and sharing the same love for football.

A huge well done to our leaders who have once again been a credit to our school.
