Student Leaders “Keep in the Know”

Our student leaders braved the rain recently to join officers from Ferryhill police station, community leaders, and primary school students to give out leaflets in Ferryhill marketplace. These gave details about the police’s website “Keep in the Know”.

This is a free messaging service brought to you by Durham Constabulary where you decide when and how you are kept informed about the issues that matter to you. Members of the public can keep themselves informed about antisocial behaviour where they live, and how they can help the police to solve crimes.

We also gave out free fluorescent pens to mark possessions with your postcode, so the police can return any stolen property to you. A big thanks to the managers of B&M and the Co-op who allowed us to give out the leaflets indoors, since the rain was lashing down.
