9W History students attended Sunderland Empire to watch the live performance of Hairspray the Musical.
Before Christmas students had been learning about Black History month and how life in the 60s compares to today.
Hairspray combining the learning in with a live show about how a teenage with big hair and an even bigger heart sets out on a mission to follow her dreams!
Students had a great time at Sunderland Empire with Mr Handley and Miss Langdale.
