District Athletics

On Tuesday 14th June 22 students from FBEC took part in the Durham Central Schools Athletics Association (DCSAA) District Athletics tournament held at Riverside Stadium, Chester-le-Street.

Students were entered into track and field events where they competed against other schools in their age category.

Our students performed exceptionally well, gaining PB’s in a range of events such as 1500m, long jump, javelin and 100m.

A big well done Year 8 students Connor C and Kai T for being the overall winners - with Connor placing first in the discus and Kai placing first in the 1500m.
