Anti-Bullying Week - Odd Socks Day
Ferryhill School has been supporting anti-bullying week with the launch of our brand new anti-bullying ambassadors.
Our recent Ofsted report said that our pupils told the inspectors that they were not worried about bullying at the school, and they knew that if they told a member of staff, it would be taken very seriously.
Trained by the Diana Award, our team of dedicated ambassadors have set up drop-in sessions for any pupil who is worried that they, or someone they know, is being bullied. We have an email address for anyone to report bullying, and we have also had assemblies this week to promote the message that bullying is not tolerated in our school.
On Friday, staff and students wore odd socks to show their support for anti-bullying week.
