our students and the wider school community.
Judged to be Good by Ofsted (October 2022), we are proud of our committed staff and aspirational pupils.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our pastoral and inclusion team as a Head of Year. As a non-teaching role, the post holder will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing and behaviour of all students in a designated year group.
The successful candidate will:
Have high expectations of students and what they can achieve
Have clear pastoral experience
Have a strong understanding of strategies which address barriers to learning
Be highly motivated and enthusiastic
Be a committed team player

You will be joining teams that deliver a high-quality service to our students.
We are seeking candidates with a good all-round education who want to make a difference to the life chances of our students. Any applicants interested in this position are invited to contact the Head of School for an informal discussion regarding your application. We would strongly recommend a visit to the school if you are interested in this position.
All completed application forms should be forwarded to Mrs J Horan, Office Manager at the school
address shown above or emailed to jho@ferryhill.school.

The college is committed to safeguarding children. All candidates will need to demonstrate a commitment to the welfare
and safety of children and young people. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon receipt of two supportive
references and a successful DBS check.
