Cover Supervisor

(Permanent)

Grade 4 SCP 05 – 08 £21,575 - £22,777 (pro-rata)

37 hours per week, term time only

(08:00 – 16:00 Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 15:30 Friday)

We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor who will make a positive contribution and impact in the role on our students and the wider school community.

Duties include: supervising classes during the short-term absence of a teacher; small group supervision; supervising and supporting students in the reflection room; supporting students to re-integrate into lessons; accompanying students on visits; supervision of students at breakfast time or after school and mentoring individual students.

You will be joining teams that deliver a high, quality service to our students.

We are seeking candidates with a good all-round education who are passionate about making a positive difference to young people. Although you would be expected to have a thorough understanding of young people, you do not necessarily need to have worked in schools previously as full training will be provided.
