Students Step Back in Time!
GCSE History students at Ferryhill School were transported back to the era of the First World War as they took part in an engaging workshop led by Frontline Living History.
The interactive session, delivered by historical expert David Allton, gave students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the GCSE curriculum through hands-on learning.
Pupils explored a wide range of authentic artefacts, tried on World War One uniforms, and even stepped into the boots of stretcher bearers to experience a small part of wartime life.
Staff praised the students for being excellent ambassadors for the school, highlighting both their enthusiasm and their strong subject knowledge throughout the day.
The workshop proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for all involved. Well done to everyone who took part!
