Becoming Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

On Tuesday 20th September, ten of our Student Leaders, Mr Handley and our school counsellor travelled to Newcastle to take part in training to become anti-bullying ambassadors.

Organised by the Diana Award, the event explored the effects of bullying on young people and how our ambassadors can help and support anyone who thinks they have been bullied.

The fantastic staff also gave us lots of ideas on how we can promote the message in school that bullying is wrong and will not be accepted in our community.

All of our Student Leaders demonstrated our core values of integrity, creativity and excellence throughout the day, and watch out for future events organised by our fantastic team.

A big thanks to all those who took part.
