Last academic year we organised a huge variety of trips, visits and events. There were nearly 4,000 individual student experiences, totalling over 45,000 hours of enrichment. These included our Aspire Days, visits to local universities, museums, theatres and cultural venues, a huge array of sporting events, and trips to London and Alton Towers. Students took part in outdoor activities in the Lake District, rode the rollercoasters at Flamingo Land and learnt how to ski at a dry ski slope. With foreign travel finally allowed, our pupils took part in free trips to France, Canada and the Seychelles, courtesy of the Turing scheme. In the 2022-23 academic year we are looking forward to even more Ferryhill Adventures, including our ski trip, Kenya visit, and our four new amazing Turing scheme adventures in San Diego, Dubai, Vietnam and California.
